I thought I had found my dad’s plow truck yesterday for camp, but I don’t know what in the hell happened to the bed sides on both sides (stove up just about the same amount). $700 with the plow setup, runs but obviously needs alot of work (though nothing but some air in a few tires to plow snow). Freaking love those old Perfect Circle hubs
Bonus - dis power wagon that hasn’t moved for at least a year. Also seen on the same trip

You’re going to have to cut every bolt off to do any work on that truck.

Doesn’t seem like it’s too bad of a price if the plow is included like you said. The truck’s probably got the Slant 6 in it (I assume) which you just can’t kill.

Actually has the small 8 in it if the distributor cap on the drivers seat is to be believed :)

Those Perfect Circle hubs look like a license-build of Selectros. Which wouldn’t surprise me, given that Selectros got rebranded as Sears brand and a bunch of others.

The garage bought a truck like this to plow. So far every fuel line, brake line, hose has had to be replaced and the carb rebuilt. Other than that its working so far, minus the giant rust holes.

I honestly have no idea when you stopped being able to buy locking hubs through the Sears catalog. Seems like that would be an obscure bit of info. Slightly.

considering I have some Sears Allstate bikes I should be more versed in the automotive side of the catalog. I remember seeing a few of those Sears hubs around on cars and in old catalogs. Anyhow, Sears rebranding for your time. Taken when I was seriously Sears heavy (I still have some of these around)

Doesn’t look like it’s rusty around the roof at least. That bed damage is weird though, hope the frame is ok. 318?

Rebranded Henry Js are the absolute pinnacle of Sears rebranding, but presumably harder to find than the bikes.

yeah it is a 318. Frame looked oddly solid but scaly as all get out.

I have seen one in my life and that was all. though that Allstate Puch 150 hardtail I had is rarer than any of them. The Vespas and the Puch DS60’s are all over the place
